Ever wished you understood the Old Testament better or wondered how to relate St.Paul’s letters to present day issues? Then 3D could be just for you. This is the shorthand name of the Diocesan Course for Developing Disciples, a weekly course during term time for almost a year. It aims to strengthen our understanding of the Bible and of Christian teaching and practice, and is ideal for those who are newer to the faith or who want to go deeper. Rob, our vicar, will be running a course on Monday evenings in the Parish Centre beginning in September. So now is a good time to think about taking part. Forms are available at the back of church or e-mail rob@fieldson.co.uk for details. Bookings should be made by mid-August so don’t hang around!

May 2010 saw the centenary of St.Andrew’s Church, and we are marking it with a whole range of events. There’s been a Service of Thanksgiving, Centenary Dinner, Day of Prayer, Flower Festival, and Golf Day (ask the Vicar how he did!). May 2010 sees the centenary of St.Andrew’s Church, and we have been marking it with a whole range of events. Over 150 people attended a wonderful Centenary Dinner, and there was a Service of Thanksgiving with the Bishop of Birmingham preaching.
