There are two churches in the parish: St.Michael’s in Cofton Church Lane, Cofton Hackett, and St.Andrew’s in Sandhills Road, Barnt Green.
Sunday Services usually follow this pattern:
8.00am
Holy Communion at St.Andrew’s on 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month, and St.Michael’s on 2nd and 4th Sundays. A peaceful service using the Book of Common Prayer.
9.30am
Morning Worship at St.Andrew’s. The main service of the day, with crèche and young people’s groups. It offers a more informal family-oriented worship at which all ages are welcome and involved. There is Communion on 1st and 3rd Sundays.
4.00pm (winter) and 6.00pm (during British Summer Time)
Evening Service at St.Michael’s. For those who prefer a more traditional service, there is Evensong each week, except 2nd Sundays when it is Communion.
A quiet and informal service of Communion and Meditation is held every Thursday at 9.15am in St.Andrew’s.
A weekly Prayer Meeting takes place each Tuesday morning from 7.15-7.45am in the Parish Centre, when we pray for the parish and for the world.
